Discover the private world of Dickens’ family. He moved to the house in 1837 with his wife Catherine and raised 3 of their 10 children there. He wrote Oliver Twist, The Pickwick Papers and Nicholas Nickleby achieving international acclaim while living there. Wonderful tours and events are held regularly, it has a great café. And, of course, a curiosity shop.
