BROADWAY LEWISHAM Theatre, Catford SE6 ( seats 800, 80 in studio) Mainly more Fringe work with the occasional Touring show. The Panto is a highlight. Broadway Blazers and B-T Tots groups are for old and young to get involved. Worth a look if your a local.

BROCKLEY JACK pub Theatre , Brockley SE4 ( seats  50) Great little community theatre. Offering drama, Scratch nights, writers workshops. The Write Now Festival is particularly of interest, allowing emerging talent to be programmed in their studio through-out the year

 CHURCHILL Theatre , Bromley  ( seats 785) Quite a big venue, so you’ll get a good mix of touring shows, Comedians on the road and Music, either Tributes of Musicals. Surrounded by shops but you might need to travel slightly further for some good grub

 GREENWICH Theatre  ( seats 420) Concentrating on the Grass Roots of the creative industry, Greenwich theatre aim to inspire and facilitate the next gen of artists. Some great family shows, mixed with a little Shakespeare and Dance. Great workshops for kids can be had.

OVAL HOUSE  , Kennington SE11 ( seats 200 downstairs , 70 upstairs ) Renowned for their work with creatives. That, combined with their eternally diverse and relevant programme, this is a top venue with a lot to offer. The food and drink offerings tend to be on point here too.

SOUTHWARK PLAYHOUSE , SE1  ( seats 240, studio 120 ) Settled in nicely to their new home, providing a few in-house shows, a platform for some cracking theatre company and heaps of opportunities in an Arts Centre style set-up. Food and drink on site are delicious. Top Off-wested venue.
