The Place, Bloomsbury, WC1:  London’s specialist venue for contemporary dance. The Richard Alston Dance Company, one of the country’s top contemporary dance groups is based here.  It unites training, creation and performance with The London Contemporary Dance School also offering degree standard training validated by the University of Kent.

Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, WC2: a gorgeous building hosting world-class ballet as well as opera. It is also now possible to explore parts of the building for free before performances. It also houses the smaller Linbury Studio Theatre and Clore Studio Upstairs for more initmate performances.

Sadler’s Wells, EC1: A world-class dance venue that regularly features cutting-edge dance as well as more mainstream productions. Some truly landmark performances have taken place here over the years which makes it a must-go-to dance venue in London.
