The Classic Book Club – Southbank: meetings are held at the South Bank at 7.30pm in the RFH or National Theatre (£2 donation for meetup fees).

NORTH

Emily’s Walking Book Club invites you to join book lovers for a walk on Hampstead Heath to discuss the current month’s book which can be found on their website. All you need do it turn up having read the book. Friends, dogs and children are welcome and the walks take about an hour.

Billing themselves as ‘London’s liveliest book club’, the North London Reading Group is an independent network of book groups in and around North London.  They also now host a regular literary event ‘Bookstock‘ every year.

SOUTH WEST

The Brixton Book Group meet every 3-4 weeks in a Brixton pub. The current venue is the Effra Social in the Winston Churchill Room. The conversation is unstructured and informal and group members vote on the next book to read. Reading everything from Sci-Fi to the classics, fiction and non-fiction they have had authors turn up to their meetings.
